Glendon Capital Management closed its second credit and special situations fund, Glendon Opportunities Fund II, at its $2.5 billion hard cap, said a spokesman in an email.
The new fund is closing with 127% more in total capital commitments than its predecessor fund, the $1.1 billion Glendon Opportunities Fund, which closed in 2014.
Investors include the New Jersey Division of Investment, which manages investments for the $75.6 billion New Jersey Pension Fund, Trenton and the $53.5 billion Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Pasadena.
