Bristol County Retirement System, Taunton, Mass., is searching for international core, growth and value equity managers to run separate mandates of about $30 million to $35 million each.
Segal Marco Advisors, investment consultant to the $600 million pension fund, is assisting with the searches.
The search is being done to comply with Massachusetts law requiring retirement boards to issue formal RFPs for investment mandates every seven years, said Roxanne L. Donovan, executive director of the retirement system.
RBC Global Asset Management, MFS Investment Management and Arrowstreet Capital are the incumbent managers and are invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Segal Marco's website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EST on Nov. 29. Ms. Donovan said a selection could possibly be made in February.
