Amita Schultes was named a managing director at Agility, Perella Weinberg Partners' outsourced chief investment officer business, said company spokesman Andrew McGloin.
The position is new.
Ms. Schultes has joined Agility's investment team to work with endowments and foundations, as well as other U.S. institutional clients. She is based in New York and reports to Trey Thompson, president of Agility and a partner at Perella Weinberg.
Ms. Schultes was a partner, managing director and senior consultant at Colonial Consulting. Charles Georgalas, Colonial spokesman, did not immediately return a phone call seeking information on if she has been replaced.
Agility oversees about $8.6 billion in assets.
