New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, made a follow-on commitment of $150 million to a private equity co-investment strategy managed by BlackRock Private Equity Partners, said Marty Karlon, pension fund spokesman, in an email.
The $8.4 billion pension fund originally committed $150 million to the co-investment strategy in October 2014.
Separately, the pension fund renewed its contract with active domestic fixed-income manager Income Research & Management for two years through Oct. 31, 2019. The manager runs $483 million and $156 million in a core portfolio and short-term portfolio, respectively.
