Kern County Employees' Retirement Association, Bakersfield, Calif., committed $50 million to Brookfield Real Estate Finance Fund V, a closed-end real estate fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management, said Gloria M. Dominguez, executive director, in an email.
The $3.9 billion pension fund's target to real estate is 10%.
