Amy Heyel was named retirement plan consultant at AndCo Consulting, spokeswoman Lauren Bowes said.
The position is new. Effective Nov. 6, Ms. Heyel will become the fifth member of the consultant's retirement solutions team, which provides defined contribution support for the consulting team and clients. She will help to strengthen the firm's fiduciary and plan governance resources for its DC clients in the U.S., according to a news release.
She will report to Jacob Peacock, director of retirement solutions.
Ms. Heyel was vice president of government markets client relations for the Eastern region at Empower Retirement. Marybeth Daubenspeck is now vice president of government markets, said Empower spokesman Stephen Gawlik. She was vice president for Empower's institutional business.
AndCo has more than $77 billion in assets under advisement.
