Kabir Goyal joined Brown Capital Management's international equity team as director and portfolio manager/senior analyst, spokeswoman Nupur Parekh Flynn said.
The position is new. Mr. Goyal will join existing international equity team members Maurice L. Haywood and Duncan J. Evered, both managing directors and senior portfolio managers. He will report to Eddie C. Brown, founder, chairman and CEO.
Mr. Goyal was an associate portfolio manager for the Wasatch International Growth Fund at Wasatch Advisors. His responsibilities have been reassigned to the remaining team members, said Eric S. Bergeson, Wasatch Advisors' president.
Brown Capital Management had $9.5 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30.
