Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Oklahoma City, committed $15 million total to three funds on behalf of the regents' $661 million endowment trust fund, spokeswoman Angela Caddell said in an email.
The regents committed $5 million each to oil and gas fund EnCap Flatrock Midstream IV, managed by EnCap Investments; Abacus Multi-Family Partners IV, a value-added real estate fund that invests in U.S. multifamily properties and is managed by Abacus Capital Group; and Hammes Partners III, a U.S. health care real estate fund.
In other news, the endowment returned approximately 11.7% for the fiscal year ended June 30, according to materials prepared for last week's state regents meeting. Ms. Caddell declined to provide additional information on the returns.
