Clint Cary was named head of U.S. delegated investment solutions at Willis Towers Watson, spokesman Ed Emerman confirmed.
The position is new. Mr. Cary will be responsible for driving the growth strategy for the company's U.S. delegated investment solutions business and managing the development and implementation of all delegated investment solutions for clients in the U.S. He is based in Chicago and reports to Kemp Ross, global head of delegated investment solutions at Willis Towers Watson.
Mr. Cary was head of U.S. delegated solutions and chief investment officer at Aon Hewitt. His position was eliminated after the firm combined its advisory and delegated teams in the U.S. into one integrated team, Aon Hewitt spokeswoman Maurissa Kanter said.
Willis Towers Watson has more than $2.3 trillion in assets under advisement and more than $87 billion in assets under management.
