Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System is searching for active emerging markets small-cap managers and a custodian, according to RFPs posted on the $1.8 billion pension fund's website.
According to the emerging markets small-cap RFP, the pension fund is seeking one or more active managers to run a total of about $35 million in long-only strategies. The RFP did not provide further information on current managers, or the reason for the search.
Proposals are due at noon CST on Nov. 6. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
According to the custodian RFP, the pension fund is seeking a firm to provide custodial and securities lending services. The RFP did not provide further information on the current custodian, or the reason for the search. According to the pension fund's most recent annual report, as of Dec. 31, 2016, the custodian was Bank of New York Mellon.
Proposals are due at noon CST on Nov. 13. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
