Alabama Peace Officers' Annuity & Benefit Fund rehired Regions Financial as money manager and custodian, said John E. Hixon Jr., executive director.
The $23 million pension fund issued an RFP in June to comply with a state law that requires the fund put the services up for bid every two years.
Mr. Hixon could not provide further information by press time.
