Denver Public Schools is searching for one or more providers for its $170 million 403(b) and $7.6 million 457 plan, said a purchasing official.
Services sought include plan administration, record keeping, investment and trust/custodial services.
The current firms providing those services for the 403(b) plan are VALIC, Ameriprise Financial, AXA Equitable, MetLife, Franklin Templeton Investments, Primerica, Security Benefit, TIAA-CREF, and Voya Financial. Empower Retirement is the provider for the 457 plan. All firms are invited to rebid.
The search is being conducted to streamline the vendor lineup and review the market, the purchasing official said.
The RFP is available on the school district's purchasing website. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. MST on Nov. 7. A hiring decision is anticipated in December.
