Ross Piper was named CEO of A$1.3 billion ($1 billion) Christian Super, Sydney.
A spokesman for the 33,000-member superannuation fund said Mr. Piper will take the helm in January or February. He will replace Peter Murphy, who left the fund in April.
Mr. Murphy joined Australian management consulting firm Robertson & Chang as a senior consultant and financial specialists for non-profits, in areas such as education, aged care and superannuation.
Mr. Piper will come to the fund from the Melbourne-based arm of worldwide community development organization World Vision Australia, where he served as chief operating officer. He could not be reached immediately for further comment.
