Dominic Garcia was named chief investment officer of the $15.1 billion New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association, Santa Fe.
Trish Winter, executive assistant to Wayne Propst, executive director, said Mr. Garcia replaced Jonathan Grabel, who left New Mexico PERA in April to become CIO of the $53.5 billion Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Pasadena, Calif.
Mr. Garcia was fund-of-funds manager at the $108.6 billion State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison. Spokeswoman Vicki Hearing said Derek Drummond, managing analyst at SWIB, replaced Mr. Garcia.
