Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Employees' Retirement System, Chelsea, is searching for an active domestic core fixed-income manager to run $42 million, said Carolyn Russo, executive director.
The $508 million pension fund issued an RFP because of the Massachusetts state law requiring services be put up for bid every seven years. Current manager Invesco is invited to rebid. NEPC is assisting with the search.
Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT on Oct. 27. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
The RFP is available on NEPC's website.
