Plymouth County (Mass.) Retirement Association is searching for a transition management consultant, said an RFP posted on the pension fund's website.
The $912 million pension fund issued the RFP inviting firms "interested in providing transition management consulting service to aid the board with transitional items related to the construction of a global equity portfolio," according to the RFP. Further information on any incumbent firms was not available. According to a second-quarter investment report, the pension fund did not have a global equity portfolio as of June 30. Actual allocations to domestic equities, international developed markets equities and emerging markets equities were 34.5%, 17.8% and 5.5%, respectively, as of that date.
Proposals are due at noon EDT on Oct. 30. A timeline for a decision was not provided. The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Investment consultant Meketa Investment Group is assisting.
