Alexandre Deruaz joined Unigestion as head of portfolio construction, a spokesman said.
The position is new. Mr. Deruaz focuses on equity portfolio and products. He reports to Alexei Jourovski, Unigestion's head of equities.
"(Mr. Derauz) has a wealth of experience in managing risk-based investment strategies as well as factor-based equity solutions," Mr. Jourovski said in a news release.
Mr. Deruaz joined Unigestion from Lombard Odier, where he was head of systematic equities and alternatives. A spokeswoman was not able to provide details about his replacement.
