J.P. Morgan Asset Management added two executives to its global insurance solutions team, a spokeswoman said.
Mark Oldcorn joined as head of international insurance solutions. The position is new. Mr. Oldcorn focuses on building and maintaining relationships with insurance companies outside the U.S. and delivering integrated solutions to insurance investors.
Mr. Oldcorn was previously a global relationship manager responsible for global insurance and asset management at Deutsche Bourse.
Charles Matterson was named head of U.K. insurance solutions. The position is new. Mr. Matterson is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with U.K. insurance companies.
Mr. Matterson was client director for U.K. and U.S. insurance investors at Schroders. A spokeswoman could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
"The combination of (Messrs. Oldcorn and Matterson's) wealth of experience ensures we are able to continue offering insurers dynamic solutions within the framework of various regulatory and accounting regimes in which our insurance clients operate," said James Peagam, head of global insurance solutions and North America institutional, in a news release.
J.P. Morgan's insurance business has $139.6 billion in assets under management.
