Washtenaw County, Ann Arbor, Mich., is searching for an investment consultant for its $30 million 457 plan and $9 million 401(a) plan, said Monica L. Boote, executive director, human resources, in an email.
The county issued an RFP for its first ongoing consultant for both plans. Graystone Consulting assisted in the creation of the 401(a) plan in 2014, along with a retiree health plan. The chosen consultant would also advise on that health plan, which currently has about $1 million in assets.
Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on Oct. 16. Finalist presentations, if required, will take place on Oct. 20. A timeline for a final hiring decision has yet to be determined.
The RFP is available on the county's purchasing website.
