Paul Osborne was named director, U.K. institutional clients at Unigestion, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Osborne heads up the firm's U.K. institutional sales, with a focus on U.K. corporate pension funds and insurers.
"The strategic hire illustrates Unigestion's commitment to the U.K. and its ambitions to further grow in this market. (Mr. Osborne) brings an additional vision and the complementary network needed to implement the next phase of our growth plan for the business," said Tom Leavitt, managing director and head of institutional clients, in a news release.
Mr. Osborne previously worked as head of U.K. business development at PineBridge Investments. A spokeswoman was not available to comment about a replacement by press time.
Unigestion has $23.9 billion in assets under management.
