Elizabeth Flisser Rosman joined Cowen Investment Management as managing director and head of strategy.
In the new position, Ms. Rosman will develop internal investment capabilities and partnerships with external money managers to expand Cowen's investment platform, confirmed Daniel Gagnier, a company spokesman.
Ms. Rosman was a partner and managing director at hedge fund seeding specialist Reservoir Capital Group. Information on a replacement was not available.
"We are extremely fortunate to have Elizabeth join Cowen as the firm continues to expand existing products, invest in managers and develop new investment vehicles relevant to Cowen's sector expertise and the global environment," said Fred S. Fraenkel, head of investment management and vice chairman, in a news release.
Cowen Investment Management manages $11 billion in alternative investment strategies for external investors and proprietary capital for its parent company.
