Russell Taylor joined GoldenTree Asset Management's newly opened office in Sydney as managing director, the New York-based global credit manager announced Tuesday.
He will lead the new office.
Mr. Taylor comes to GoldenTree from a more than 30-year stint with J.P. Morgan, where he served most recently as managing director, head of institutional sales for Australia and New Zealand. A J.P. Morgan spokesman said there has been no direct replacement for Mr. Taylor in the corporate and institutional bank operations at J.P. Morgan.
GoldenTree manages more than $25 billion on behalf of institutional investors, the news release said.
