Lisa O'Connor was named head of consultant relations for the U.K. at Lazard Asset Management, said a spokeswoman for the firm.
Ms. O'Connor replaced Douglas Anderson, who was named head of consultant relations at Hermes Investment Management in February.
Lazard Asset Management is part of Lazard Group, which manages £155.1 billion ($201 billion) in assets.
Ms. O'Connor was head of global consultant relations at AXA Investment Managers. A spokeswoman for the €735 billion ($873 billion) money manager confirmed Manisha Patel had been promoted to the role, responsible for identifying, establishing and maintaining relationships with global consultants and reporting to John Stainsby, head of U.K. client group.
Ms. Patel also is retaining her responsibilities as head of U.K. consultant relations. "We recognize the value of having a strong consultant relations team in the institutional market," and plan to recruit into the U.K. consultant relations team, the spokeswoman added.
