Michael Hall has joined Russell Investments as managing director, Americas institutional, confirmed spokesman Christian Brebbia in a phone call.
The position is new.
Mr. Hall will lead a new specialist investment team helping Russell's OCIO clients at defined benefit, defined contribution and retiree health-care plans with investment solutions.
Mr. Hall was the west division leader at Towers Watson Investment Services, a unit of Willis Towers Watson. Mr. Hall's responsibilities will be handled by other investment consultants, said Willis Towers Watson spokesman Ed Emerman.
