Chesterfield County, Va., is searching for investment consultants for its two supplemental retirement plans, according to an RFP posted on the county's purchasing website.
The county issued the RFP for the consultant to "evaluate the investment policy and related processes and objectives of the SRP with respect to current market conditions" and "provide recommendations for revisions and perform ongoing review of historical investment performance of the SRP and related asset allocations," according to the RFP. The county is seeking separate consultants for the plans, or one consultant for both plans. Graystone Consulting is the current consultant of the $34 million Chesterfield County Supplemental Retirement Plan. The current consultant of the $20 million Chesterfield County Public Schools Supplemental Retirement Plan could not be immediately learned. Whether the current firms are eligible to rebid could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on the county's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Sept. 28. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
