Shunsuke Tanahashi, a senior vice president in Partners Group's Tokyo office, was named head of the Swiss private markets manager's Tokyo business, confirmed a spokeswoman for the firm.
Mr. Tanahashi replaces Junichiro Kawamura in that role. Mr. Kawamura remains a senior vice president with Partners Group's six-member sales and client service team in Tokyo, the spokeswoman said.
Mr. Tanahashi joined Partners Group in April from Tokyo-based money management firm Ark Totan Alternative, where he served as president and CEO. Taketo Furuya replaced Mr. Tanahashi as the firm's president and CEO.
