Tony Huang joined Natixis Global Asset Management in Taipei as general manager and head of institutional business development for Taiwan.
Mr. Huang started July 17 and replaces Alex Chang, managing director and head of Taiwan, who left the firm in September after two years leading all aspects of the business, said a Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for Natixis.
Mr. Huang will report to Kinji Kato, executive managing director and Asia CEO. Mr. Huang will be "responsible for business initiatives across the institutional, wholesale and retail channels of the firm's Taiwan operations, as well as spearheading new institutional business development initiatives," a Natixis news release said.
Mr. Huang was senior vice president and head of business development in Neuberger Berman's Taipei office, a Natixis news release said.
In an email, Nick Hoar, Neuberger Berman's Hong Kong-based managing director and head of Asia-Pacific, said Mr. Huang served as a senior salesman. Three less senior professionals have been added to the sales team in Taipei, with the wider team taking on Mr. Huang's responsibilities, said Mr. Hoar.
