Chris Hogg was named CEO of the National Grid U.K. Pension Scheme, Wokingham, England, said a spokesman.
He will replace Rob Schreur. Further information on Mr. Schreur could not be learned.
Mr. Hogg, who serves as a CEO of Royal Mail Pension Plan, London, will not leave the £9.6 billion ($12.5 billion) pension fund until the end of the year, said a source familiar with Royal Mail.
The same source said that Mr. Hogg's specific leaving date has not been set and the executive who will be replacing him has not been named.
National Grid U.K. Pension Scheme has £17 billion in assets under management. The spokesman was unable to provide more details by press time.
