Claus Jorgensen was named head of investments at the 105 billion Danish kroner ($16.6 billion) PenSam, Faram, Denmark.
A news release by the pension fund said Mr. Jorgensen will join Oct. 1, and lead the investment department.
Further information, including whom he replaces, could not be learned by press time.
Mr. Jorgensen joins from 205 billion kroner PKA, Hellerup, Denmark, where he is deputy director of the investment department, said the release. A PKA spokesman said he has not been replaced yet.
A spokesman for PenSam could not be reached for comment by press time.
