Beaverton, Ore., is searching for a record keeper for its $38 million 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on the city's website.
The city is seeking a firm to provide "retirement plan record keeping, education, plan administration, communications and investment-related services," according to the RFP. The current record keeper is Empower Retirement; whether the firm is eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. PDT on Aug. 28. Finalist interviews are scheduled for Sept. 14, with a decision later that month.
Brent Petty, president of Northwest Capital Management, which is assisting with the search, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
