Allyson Kaufman was named managing director in the institutional fundraising group at alternative money manager Medley Management, said Erin Clark, spokeswoman.
It is a new position. Ms. Kaufman reports to Christopher Taube, senior managing director, head of institutional fundraising.
She previously was founding member and managing director at Corrum Capital Management.
Richard Romine, Corrum Capital Management's chief financial officer and chief operating officer, could not be immediately reached.
Medley Management has more than $5 billion in assets under management.
