Winthrop (Mass.) Retirement System will search for an investment consultant for its $63.2 million pension plan.
The retirement board does not currently have a consultant and this is the first time the plan has sought one, said Michelle St. Jean, retirement coordinator, in an email. The plan's assets are currently invested through the $67 billion Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Trust, Boston.
A copy of the RFP will be available Aug. 14 by contacting Ms. St. Jean via phone at 617-539-5750 or via email.
Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT Sept. 30. The board expects to award a contract by Nov. 30, said Ms. St. Jean.
