Schenectady (N.Y.) Deferred Compensation Committee is searching for an investment consultant, according to an RFP posted on the city's purchasing department website.
The $24 million 457 plan's committee is seeking a consultant to assist in the creation of an investment policy, conduct an annual review and analysis of that policy, and advise the committee on a regular basis on investments. Whether there is a current consultant could not be immediately learned.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Nov. 1. A decision is expected sometime in December.

Anthony Ferrari, the city's commissioner of finance and administration and member of the deferred compensation committee, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
