Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, is searching for managers to provide investment advisory and money management services for its £10 million ($13 million) endowment portfolio.
A spokeswoman for the university said current contracts have come to an end. Details on incumbent managers were not available.
The managers will be tasked with maintaining and growing the endowment funds through investment in income-generating assets to support an annual expenditure plan. Assets will be managed within a balanced, multiasset portfolio with an appropriate degree of risk.
Proposals are due Sept. 8. Further details are available on public procurement website Public Contracts Scotland. The spokeswoman said a decision is likely to be made after the October endowment committee meeting.
