El Paso County, El Paso, Texas, is searching for up to three record keepers for its $29 million 457 plan, said an RFP posted on the county's purchasing website.
The county has issued an RFP for "up to three providers with the goal of reducing overall investment fees charged to participants, increase investment options, and strengthen the county's portfolio strategy for participants," according to the RFP.
The three current record keepers are Nationwide Financial, VALIC and Voya Retirement Services. It could not be immediately learned whether the firms are eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on the county's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MDT on Aug. 31. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
