Voya Financial's assets under management totaled $301 billion as of June 30, up 2.4% from March 31 and up 9% from a year earlier, the money manager said in its earnings report released Tuesday.
Assets under administration for the company were $216 billion as of June 30, up 2.4% from March 31 and up 13.7% from June 30, 2016.
Voya's retirement segment had net inflows of $280 million in the quarter, vs. net inflows of $610 million for the previous quarter and net inflows of $693 million in the second quarter of 2016.
Voya Financial posted net income of $167 million in the second quarter, vs. a net loss of $144 million for the first quarter and net income of $162 million for the second quarter of 2016.
Total operating revenue was $2.22 billion, up 1.3% from the previous quarter and down 1.1% from the same period a year earlier.
