Brentwood, Tenn., is searching for at least one record keeper for its two 457 plans and 401(a) plan, said Michael Worsham, the city's director of human resources, in an email.
The city issued an RFP to fulfill its "fiduciary responsibility to help ensure our employees receive the best available products and services," Mr. Worsham said in the email. Current record keepers ICMA-RC and Nationwide Financial are invited to rebid. The plans have a combined $20 million in assets.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CDT on Sept. 4. A decision is expected on Sept. 18 and approval by the city commission is expected on Oct. 9. The RFP is available on the city's purchasing website.
