Jason Green joined Allianz Global Investors in Singapore as head of institutional business for Southeast Asia.
The position is new, said a spokeswoman for the firm.
Mr. Green comes to Allianz from J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he led that firm's institutional sales efforts in Southeast Asia as executive director, client adviser, Asia sovereign and institutional group.
A J.P. Morgan Asset Management spokeswoman said the firm is in the process of hiring a replacement for that role.
