Chattanooga (Tenn.) Fire and Police Pension Fund is searching for active and/or passive domestic core fixed-income managers to run a total of $10 million to $15 million, said Katrina Abbott, interim retirement administrator, in an email.
The $215 million pension fund issued an RFP for managers benchmarked to the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond index.
When asked about incumbent managers, Ms. Abbott said, “No decisions have been made at this time.” She did not identify the current managers.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Aug. 24. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
The RFP is available on the website of Dahab Associates, the pension fund's investment consultant, which is assisting in the search.
