Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Pasadena, Calif., is searching for active domestic small-cap equity managers, said an RFI posted on the pension fund's website.
The $52.5 billion pension fund has issued a request for information for active managers who are benchmarked to the Russell 2000 index and have at least $600 million in assets under management in the specific strategy they are proposing, according to the RFI.
Information on current managers was unavailable.
The RFI is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. PDT on Aug. 11. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
