San Antonio Fire & Police Pension Fund committed a total of $30 million to two private debt funds.
The $2.8 billion pension fund committed $15 million each to CapitalSpring Investment Partners V and Bloomfield Capital Income Fund III.
A search for private debt managers was launched earlier this year. The pension fund does not issue RFPs.
The other finalist was Calmwater Capital.
