Anders Schelde was appointed chief investment officer at MP Pension, Gentofte, Denmark, a spokesman said.
Mr. Schelde will assume his responsibilities on Nov. 1. He replaces Niels Erik Petersen.
The pension fund provides pension arrangements to teachers and professors employed in public-sector universities and upper secondary schools across Denmark. The size of the plan's assets could not immediately be learned.
Mr. Schelde served as head of investments of Nordea Life and Pension. A spokesman was not available to comment about a replacement by press time.
