County of Atlantic (N.J.) Deferred Compensation Plan Committee is searching for a firm to conduct a review of its approximately $33 million plan, said a purchasing official.
Considered in the review will be plan design, the plan's investment policy, fees, among other things. The selected firm will also be expected to recommend changes.
"It is the committee's belief that obtaining a 3rd party review of its plan will assist the committee (in) confirming its fiduciary safe harbor and be in the plan participants' best interests," the RFP said.
The RFP is available on the county's purchasing website Registration is required. Proposals are due by 11 a.m. EDT on July 18. A timeline for a hiring decision was not disclosed.
Empower Retirement is the plan's record keeper.
