Angus Woolhouse was named global head of distribution at Insight Investment, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Woolhouse replaced Philip Anker, who left the firm in June to return to New York, the spokeswoman added.
Mr. Woolhouse joined from Barings, where he was global head of distribution until September last year. A spokeswoman could not be reached about details on a replacement by press time.
Insight Investment has £547 billion ($695 billion) in assets under management.
