David Eisenberg was named principal and consultant at Meketa Investment Group.
The position is new. Mr. Eisenberg's consulting responsibilities include investment policy design, asset allocation modeling, public markets manager due diligence and fund performance analysis, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Mr. Eisenberg, who started June 12, reports to Frank E. Benham, managing principal and director of research at Meketa.
Mr. Eisenberg was a partner and director of client consulting at Mercer. A Mercer spokeswoman said Mr. Eisenberg's position was eliminated and his duties have been absorbed by existing staff.
Meketa has more than $450 billion in assets under advisement.
