Credit Suisse Asset Management and River and Mercantile Group announced Monday a "cooperation agreement" under which Credit Suisse's emerging markets equity team will join River and Mercantile Group's asset management division.
Al Bryant, Todd Leigh, and the rest of the firm's emerging markets equity team joined RMG's asset management division will provide RMG and Credit Suisse clients with an expanded range of emerging markets equity strategies, said a joint news release from RMG and Credit Suisse.
Credit Suisse's emerging markets equity team currently manages $360 million.
As of March 31, Credit Suisse had $367 billion in total assets under management, and River and Mercantile had £55 billion ($68.5 billion) in total assets under management and advisement.
A Credit Suisse spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.
