Cleveland Metropolitan School District is searching for a third-party administrator for its 403(b) plan, said Romeo Metri, procurement department intern, in an email.
The district issued the RFP because it currently handles all administration internally and wants to move to a third-party administrator "to help assist our employees with better customer service knowledge about our plans," Mr. Metri said. Mr. Metri could not provide an asset size for the plan.
The RFP is available on the school district's procurement website. Proposals are due at 1 p.m. EDT on July 18. A timeline for a decision was not provided, but the contract is scheduled to begin Sept. 1.
