LaRoy Brantley was named a principal and consultant at Meketa Investment Group, said spokeswoman Caroline Collins.
The position is new. Mr. Brantley's consulting responsibilities include investment policy design, asset allocation modeling, public markets manager due diligence and fund performance analysis. He is based in Meketa's Boston office and reports to Frank Benham, a managing principal and director of research.
Mr. Brantley was a managing director at Cambridge Associates. It could not be learned if he was replaced; Cambridge spokeswoman Samantha Norquist could not be immediately reached for comment.
Meketa Investment Group is an investment consulting firm that advises on more than $450 billion in assets.
