Laurie Fiori Hacking, executive director of the $20 billion Minnesota Teachers Retirement Association, St. Paul, will retire at the end of the year, the pension fund announced.
The pension fund placed a job posting for the executive director position on its website. The deadline for applicants is July 12.
The executive director oversees administration of the pension fund; the $80 billion Minnesota State Board of Investment, St. Paul, manages its assets.
Ms. Hacking has been in the post since 2006, according to a news release. Prior to that, she was executive director at the $90.5 billion Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, for six years and held the same title at the $23 billion Minnesota Public Employees Retirement Association, St. Paul, from 1994 to 2000.
