Rohan Singh will join BNY Mellon in Hong Kong on June 27 as Asia-Pacific head of asset servicing, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Singh will succeed Francis Braeckevelt, the firm's Asia-Pacific chief operating officer, who took on the asset servicing leadership role as well on an interim basis, according to a BNY Mellon news release Wednesday.
Mr. Singh will come to BNY Mellon from Northern Trust, where he served as country head, Singapore and head of Southeast Asia.
A Hong Kong-based spokeswoman for Northern Trust said William Mak, the firm's Singapore-based Asia-Pacific head, will assume Mr. Singh's responsibilities on an interim basis.
